He is on the phone. "No appointments at all?" he says. "Because my neck is still tight" he says. "What about Thursday?" he says. "And Friday?" he says. "Oh boy" he says. "Okay" he says. "Thanks anyway." He hangs up the phone.

Day Seventeen

He is on the phone. "George, stop worrying about this guy. It wasn't your fault..." He says into the phone. He continues "Come on, he's not stalking you." The other man walks into the room. "Hey" the other man says to him, "Hey" he says to the other man. He continues to talk into the phone. "He doesn't even know where you live." He pauses" Who told you to give him your business card?" The is a sharp buzz. "That's Elaine." He says. It is the intercom. The other man walks over to 'buzz' Elaine' in.
He is still on the phone. He lowers it and says to the other man "George wants to know when you want to look for the cat again."
"It's been a week. It's up to the cat now." Says the other man.
"Kramer says it's up to the cat now." He says into the phone "It'll be on your conscience." he says to the other man.
"Oh? How do you figure?" says the other man.
"How do you figure?" He says into the phone.
"Cause you're the one who left the door open." He says to the other man
"Why was I in charge of closing the door?" Says the other man
"Why was he in charge of closing the door? " He says into the phone.
"'Cause you came in after him!" He says to the other man.
"So!" Says the other man.
"So!" He says into the phone.
"So, the last person in should close the door!" He says to the other man
"Let me talk to him" Says the other man.
"Call him from your house" He says to the other man.
The other man leaves. "He's calling you now." He says and then he hangs up the phone.

Day Eleven

He picks up the cordless phone from the table, extends it's telescopic aerial and dials. The other man and two other people are in the room. They are crowded around to listen in from a second phone that is on the coffee table. "Hello, Ray?" he says. "Hi, Ray, this is Rava's friend, Elaine's friend, Jerry... the king of comedy... right. Listen, you know that statue on your mantle, the one with the blue lady? " He pauses and turns and shouts at the other three by the coffee table. "Will you shut up" he shouts. He continues talking into the phone. "Yeah, you don't want to talk about it over the phone? You don't want Rava to hear? ... Yeah, I understand... You know that coffee shop near my house, Monk's?.. Alright, tomorrow. One o' clock. Great, okay, bye." He hangs up the phone.

Day Ten

He is sat at a table, a newspaper is open in front of him, he is holding a cordless phone. "George, I didn't sleep at all last night. I decided I have to tell her" he says into the phone. He pauses for a second and then continues "I'm just going to be honest, that's all... Yes, I'm nervous... Are you listening to me? Just put some soap on your finger. It'll slide right off... Then try axle grease."
Another man walks into the room. He looks round to the other man. He says into the cordless phone "I'll call you back after I talk to her" and "Bye". He pushes down the telescopic aerial of the cordless phone and then 'hangs up'.

He is on the phone. "Hello... hello is Glenn there?" he says. Glen is not there, it is another person. He apologises to the other person, "I'm sorry" he says to the other person. "Is this 805-555-3234?.. Yes, I know I have the wrong number, but I just want to know if I dialed wrong or if..." He stops speaking. The other person has hung up the phone.
He redials. Another man walks into the room. He looks over to the other man then speaks into the phone "Oh, it's you again. See now if you had answered me, I wouldn't have had to do this. Now that's too long distance calls I've made to you why can't you..." He stops speaking. The other person has hung up the phone.

He picks up the phone and dials.
"George Costanza, please" He says.
"George, what's going on?.. Well, where is the guy?.. Nothing?.. Almost half my money's gone... Well, call me right back..." He hangs up the phone
The phone rings. He answers. "George... what?.. You're kidding... Well, what's wrong?.. So, what are we gonna do?.. Alright, I'll speak to you later." He hangs up the phone.

Day Four
He walks into the room and closes the door behind him. A man is talking on the phone. "Oh, they've got a cure for cancer. See, it's all big business" The man pauses and turns to him. "Oh hey” he says before continuing to talk on the phone. “Jerry just walked in. Yeah, yeah, yeah, take my number - 555-8643. Okay, here he is." The man hands out the phone to him.
"Who is it?"
"Take it."
"Who is it?"
"It's for you."
He takes the phone. "Hello? Oh, hi Joel... No. I was out of town. I just got back… Kramer doesn't know anything… He's just my next-door neighbor. Uh… nothing much… Tuesday? Uh, Tuesday, no. I'm meeting somebody… Uh, Wednesday? Wednesday's okay... Alright. Uh, I'm a little busy right now. Can we talk Wednesday morning? … Okay… yeah... right... thanks... bye." He hangs up the phone.
